:275 Permeable Pavement

Welcome to today’s 1:5:10:365 Tip for becoming a better steward for our home and planet environment.

1:5:10:275 EcoTip: Pervious concrete helps reduce storm water runoff and helps increase ground water recharge when it is used as an alternative to asphalt and impervious concrete. If an area must be paved – this is the preferred way to go. Choose light colored mixes to help keep things cooler (:274).
