:253 Dust Controlling Power Tools

Welcome to today’s 1:5:10:365 Tip for becoming a better steward for our home and planet environment.

1:5:10:253 EcoTip:  A variety of power tools are available with a dust collection bag. When purchasing power tools look for a vacuum cleaner attachment such as shown on the saw above. Dust bags such as are present on the sanders shown above – can frequently be removed and a vacuum cleaner nozzle attached. Many manufacturers are now supplying the adapters or building them into the tool for easy attachment.
